William Woolfolk Art

BIOGRAPHY/STATEMENT

William Woolfolk was born and raised in suburban Chicago. After recieving a degree in psychology at the University of Florida, he completed an intensive two-year study in the fine arts program there. William currently lives in his Atlanta based studio where his creativity has flourished in a positive working environment.

After spending many years exploring a variety of mediums and styles, Woolfolk has spent the last several years using geometric abstraction to connect with and experience the spiritual background of life and the world. His unique style focuses on the sensitive visual relationship between line, shape, texture and color in building lively compositions that strive toward timeless balance and unity without sacrificing spontaneity and chance.

Woolfolk has exhibited his art in over 35 solo and group shows throughout the Southeast. His dynamic work is held in both national and international corporate and private collections.
